PE Curriculum

With recent government initiatives and targets in mind Sporting Start was set up to provide support to Primary schools across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas by delivering quality P.E. provision as part of the curriculum.

PPA Cover for teachers

Sports on offer link directly to the PE national curriculum.

Key Stage 1: Gymnastics, Dance, Games (generic activities including rolling, throwing, striking, and kicking) activities
Key Stage 2: Gymnastics, Dance, Games activities, Athletics activities

Sporting Start now offer Performing Arts as part of the PPA Cover.

Sporting Start are also happy to deliver any classroom based lessons on, Diet / Healthy Eating / Lifestyles which link directly to the PSHE curriculum.

Experienced coaches

All coaches and associates of Sporting Start are qualified teachers and/or qualified coaches in their chosen sport with experience of working in the educational environment.
