PE and Sports Provision from Sporting Start

Sporting Start was set up to encourage young people across Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas to lead a more active and healthy lifestyles. Sporting Start is a service provider for primary schools, delivering PE in the curriculum, providing PPA cover for teachers. We offer various across Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas including Salford, Wigan, Bolton, Cheshire, Warrington, Bury and further across the North West.

With rising levels of obesity and lack of sport played by children, Sporting Start helps schools and parents to encourage young people to lead more active and healthy lifestyles. We are also mindful of recent government initiatives and targets. We continue to support schools in achieving these targets by delivering quality P.E. lessons as part of the curriculum (as well as covering teachers PPA hours) and by offering our now very extensive extended schools provision.
